HI Guys, I just wanted to congradulate you on your long ride, I only wish I could do something like that. I am an avid snowmobilier and enjoy it very much, each year we also do alot of charity runs and I would just like to say that I think all snowmobile club in Canada and in the US should have charity runs every year. I also think that there should definitly be more news coverage on all the charity work snowmobliers do every year. Well I think that is about it. I think the three of you have tons of courage and I hope you decide to do your run again next year you might be surprised to see that alot of people would like to join you Best of luck Tina

Hi Guys! What a trip!! I just read about your trip in "SnowGoer" and found it very interesting. What caught my eye is the machines you 3 used for your trip (2000 Polaris Trail Tourings). I just bought an identical machine last week, and is good to know that they are a very durable and dependable snowmobile. As the saying goes... better late than never. It took a little longer to get your site address than your trip took. To me, it is truely a trip of a life-time, and for a good cause as well. It reminds me of my cross country trips, and hitch-hiking to Alaska. So where to next? Best of luck on that adventure.

Even though I was not on the trip with you for those 29 days, it certainly felt like I was there in spirit every minute, every day. You three have inspired all of us that have followed your 29 day journey to dream, accept is as a challenge, and make it become reality. Most of all, you taught us to give back to this world something in return for everything God has given us. In your case, it was to help the children at the Pine Tree Burn Center and Camp for Handicapped children. Finally, thanks for creating the community spirit and pride associated with your journey. May it continue.

Many thanks to everyone that helped make this dream a reality. I thank God for the people that stood behind us to help make this dream come true. This trip was an adventure of a lifetime, I am so fortunate to have so many people supporting us as we travelled 6000 miles. I thank God for all of you. My family and I wish to thank WCXU and Dave Bell for their coverage of this adventure, you brought it home guys, you helped to close the gap, while we were closing the miles between us, you brought us to them each and everyday, without your support, I am sure it would have been much more difficult to be away from them. What a great adventure you had as well as everyone who was able to listen to Channel X. You really made the last 4 weeks enjoyable to hear how far you had gone, what obstacles you encountered and your funny tales about each other. Congratulations and welcome home! I had a phone call at 8:15 this morning saying you had just crossed the border at St. Pamphile. The Customs Inspector there was pleased to be "part" of your return. One of the men I work with pondered your long ride by snowmobile and wants to know if you are all going to schedule your hemmorhoid surgeries for the same day?

But is this the first time by sno-sled? If it is what a great place to end a 6,000 mi. adventure. The most Northeast city in the continental U.S., CARIBOU, MAINE which lies in the largest County East of the Mississippi River, and the prettiest state in the union. I'm sure there are plenty of stories to tell everyone about your adventure. I know there are three families that are glad to see you home safe and sound. We will talk to you soon. We got a call this morning to guide another small group through Bonnyville to Lac la Biche today, they are going the other way and want to end in the Yukon. I hope we can get the support we need to make the trail better for everyone that wants to attempt a ride like this but you three are now considered pioneers and are helping each club along the way to improve there trails and make it easier and safer for all of us. Kirk & friends, We are happy to hear of your homecoming tomorrow arriving in Caribou. We thought of you as you passed near. Kirk, I shared your wesite and information with about 250 snowmobilers here in Gorham last weekend. They were here for the Easter Seals Ride In, an annual event here in Gorham. We also shared your updates with snowmobilers of Northern New Hampshire. Welcome home all of you and you did a great job!!! We are glad you made it safely. Wish we could attend the reception! P.S. The folks on the other end the charity line (kids) are the ones who will benefit the most from your accomplishment. 10 years from now when we have put this trip of yours in some distant space in our minds, some child who received help at his time of need because of money you guys donated WON`T forget. HI M&M and K Well I followed your journey faithfully. It's hard to believe you guys are almost here. Although your not quite back yet I do want to say WELCOME HOME!! Because I know once the Hollywood Producers get a hold of you three. Your families won't be seeing to much of you. I thought I'd make a suggestion that Dave keeps this guestbook running so your family and friends can follow your Hollywood Journey. Its amazing what this trip has done for a lot of people. Kathy did have to send out the Game Warden to find him and tell him he had better put it up now, you are getting close to home. So he has cleaned it all up and the snow has melted all off of it. You won't need to dust it off when you get back. OH he just told me he forgot to put oil and gas in it. SORRY. Friends like you have made PTC what it is today, and we are truly thankful for your kindness, compassion and dedication. We just wrapped up our annual PTC Snowmobile Ride-in in Newport this past weekend, and Assistant Camp Director Harvey Chesley and I made sure that everyone there (several hundred in attendance) were aware of your progress and the outstanding amount of pledges you have tallied for our campers. Most of the people we spoke with -- at least those with Net connection -- have been following your progress and were aware of how well the trip is going, and all of the folks we spoke with said to wish you a very safe trip home. Thanks again for supporting the many families we serve through Pine Tree Camp. Your friendship will have a huge impact in many lives when we open our doors for the season in June. Well guys I havent sent too many E-mails but I have to make reservations to get on the internet.But that doesn't mean that I havent been following you all on your trip, Channell X radio has been doing a great job of keeping us all informed of your progress. I put you all on our prayer requests at church each sunday, so the whole congregation of Gray Memorial United Methodist Church has you on our prayers for a great trip and a safe return to caribou. The whole town is watching to the west for the three adventures so we can all welcome you home be careful and i will be watching for you guys to return you have a safe rest of your trip and dont get so excited to get home you have problems. see you all in a few days. Kirk The girls and I have followed you every bump and ditch along the way. Your daily updates have been great and I feel apart of me has been on this super ride with you. I have kept a folder at work with all the updates and showed as many customers as possible.(While I try to close the sale!) But enough of this mushy stuff. I have a few concerns about this ride that I can't hold back any longer. First- GO EASY on my sled! The boys will be up the first weekend in March and I want my sled in one piece! Second- I thought you said you county boys knew how to ride. (150 to 200 miles a day?)Us southern boys would have that in by lunch. Third- Thank Michelle for the wonderful party at your place! I told her the Beta Boys could fit 14 people in your HOT TUB! Don't worry, Bob has the new windows on order and I'LL take care of the carpets! We will be back so have her invite all her friends up to camp FIRST WEEKEND IN MARCH! Sure hope you are back by then cause there is no stopping us now. IF NOT, CHERYL will make a great hostess!! (I won't even mention that she has been without her husband for a month and you know the BETA BOYS and loney woman!) So I would suggest that you get out of the hot tub and do some real riding. Fourth- I'm a little concerned that you are not being totally honest with your readers. As your former fraternity roommate, I have been carefully reading between the lines of your updates and I feel I should inform your readers what really is going on with your trip. For instance, during the first couple of days of the trip you let it slip that you didn't get up till 10:00 o'clock. To me that means there was one heck of a party the night before and we as readers demand details!!!! I would like to continue my disecting of your updates but my wife and daughters asked me not to embarrass their family anymore. Last (My daughters want their computer back) We do wish you the best of luck on the rest of your journey and can't wait to hear all the stories when you get back. Hello, I know, I know, it has been along time, but this weekend I was so busy. I just got back from a basketball game. My last one at Woodland Palace. But oh well! :( I wish you were there to see it. We won, but we knew it. I have been a little sick lately, but nothing to worry about. I have been keeping Mem up at night with my hacking and coughing. She said she was going to shove cough medicine down my throat. but she loves me just the same. I can't wait till you guys come in to Caribou. That is all everyone talks about. Mike, I just come back from church. Prayed for the 3 of yous, so the rest trip will be safe. Went to the post office to my pass port, going to a different place than you went. I'm going to the Holy Land. I'm thinking about being a Nun, if they'll have me. Ally is being an good girl. The boys are still calling at all hours of the night. How did you ever put up with it? She is in safe hands, but they are all really cute!!! I can see why that is all she talks about. The weather has been freezeing clod. WAY to cold to go sking, I wanted to teach Brenda S. and Susie S. how to ski. HA HA. Stevie, is doing all the work around my house, he empyed my ashes out of the stove, and shoveled my deck. Dear Dad, Just got home from Ally's game and they won, Ally didn't even fowl out this time. Shes really doing better at keeping her arms up. Uncle Simon took us to school this morning before he went back to portland. I have a black and blue nose from the hockey stick, but Its not to bad it should be gone by the weekend.Did you get a chance to see any of the all star games this past weekend? They were great!! But it would have been nice to have you sharing the chair with me, Well dad just a few more nights without you and then I'll have you to myself again. I heard about yuor trip through Dina Duty here at MFS. She told me about your trip one day in the elivator. I have enjoyed track your progress on the WEB and only hope that one day I can make go on a trip similar to yours. Although I don't think this one will ever be topped. To the three "amigos": I must admit that checking in on your travels has become somewhat of an addiction. The "luxury" suite at the Boundary Lodge picture is a hoot. Nothing like sleeping next to a 100lb. gas cylinder to make you rest easy. That place looks more like the "Chateau de Bring Your Own Wallboard" or the hunting camp of the Owens-Corning Pink Panther or last but not least, my first dorm room at NMVTI after a long weekend. Good luck in the home stretch, wish I could be there for the big parade. Oh, one last note, picked up a National Enquirer and the front page had a pic of you three with headline: Aroostook County Snowmobilers on Epic 6000 Mile Voyage find Elvis at Great Slave Lake, Thousands of Impersonators Flock to Canada to Pay Homage to the King I knew it was a false story (one of the few) as they had you guys sitting on Ski-Doos!!!!!

Kirk, Mike and Mike- We're all getting anxious to get you boys back home again and hear all of your new stories (fact and fiction). The strangest thing happened to me the other day. I saw three guys who looked like you three comming out of a bar in South Portland with some drunk lady. The funny thing is they all took off running when they saw me! You are in Canada right? Right? Well, maybe I shouldn't of mentioned it. Anyway, I doubt if anyone realy reads these messages. I'm happy to read that everyone seems helpfull and taking good care of you three. Look, I don't want to get too sentimental due to your probable emotional states at this stage of the journey but, honestly, I couldn't think of better representatives of our county than you three. I'm sure everyone you've encountered have been impressed with your sincere friendliness. Thanks for spreading Aroostook county honesty and goodness across Canada. Geez, I hope all that doesn't add snifling to all the other sounds you have to listen too when sleeping in the same rooms for such a long time. Hi guys; Sounds like things are under control. Have you been practicing your French? I hear the trails in Quebec are some of the finest in Canada. Take a few mental notes and let us know. The Caribou Snowmobile Club hosted a hotdog roast today at Gerald Ouellette's potato house. The proceeds will help the VICA students attend regional and national skills competitions. The weather was great except for some white-out conditions around noon. Mike M. I had to use the phone at your place after the roast. The weather was so nice I thought I would go for a short ride but my sled had other ideas. Just as I was crossing the road the two front drive sprockets shattered. I thought sure I had broken a chain until I looked back at all the plastic in the street. It's still there so be careful driving home. Reg came to the rescue and we'll have it back on the trail soon. Hope the trip continues smoothly and the pledges keep coming. See you soon.

Hi Kirk, Mike & Mike, There seems to be a lot of favorite cousins, well I'm the only favorite aunt. No,no,no,Kirk, steak in French is not poisson or poulet. It's PLOYES, with real butter and floating in maple syrup. Not only smells good but delicious. You will need a pot of HOT coffee with real sweet cream, cafe au lait. Now thats gourmet. Feb 6 2000 Kirk Mike Mike were just here for gas before making there way into the province of Quebec i beleve they will be stoping in Ville Marie. I was under the impression we were snomobile nut up here in northern Ontario, but they beat me hands down as I will only log 3000 miles and I have all of 3 Months to do it. Brave is not the word good luck and if you ever want to snomobile at a more relaxing pace give me a call and will set you up with some rental sleds Thank you! Nick
